08/21/2024LET ME THINK ABOUT IT
09/23/2024Hey, Hey, Hey, beautiful spirit! What’s on your mind? Are the cares of the world on your mind? What do I mean by the cares of the world? Here’s a short list of 8 things:
The list starts with, the job, then finances, kids, school, the next big idea, healthcare, starting that side hustle, and the next president (check your registration). You know where I’m coming from.
As I type this, I hear the Disney theme song from “Frozen” playing. I’m swaying back and forth. And no, I don’t know all the words… LOL Ease your mind. Give it a break. Relax. Empty nesters, I know you’re probably getting your dance on right now.
Anywho, my brain was working overtime. I was thinking about all the things I had to do when I should have been sleeping, including writing my next post to you. And guess what came to mind? My quote for the day. I may have shared it in the past. If I did, it’s worth sharing again.
Instead of counting sheep, or if you’re up, focusing on all the things do this “Meditate on These Things,” according to the New King James Version from Biblegateway.com. Quote: 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”
Does this put you in a better space or what?! I can sense those calming vibes happening, as well as those eyelids getting heavy.
I couldn’t let this go without mentioning it again. Read each word one by one and feel the sense of peace that come over you.
The only other thing I have to share is, everything at GEM Designs, LLC is 50% off. Everything means everything. Pass it on.
Thank you for continued support and for sharing. What’s on your mind?
XOXO,
GEM

I read in a meme, that if you are grateful, there is no room for anxiety. Your brain can not do both. So lately, when I get anxious, I get grateful! It works!
Kim, thanks for always sharing! Yes to being grateful. And yes, anxiety be gone!
XOXO,
