PEACE BE STILL
11/09/2024CYBER MONDAY
12/02/2024Beautiful spirit, I am thankful for you. You’re the reason that I continue to work on perfecting this blog. For my new subscribers, I appreciate you for the interest in becoming a part of a community that’s growing.
In case you haven’t noticed, we’re in November, and Thanksgiving is next week. Are you ready! As for me, I am always ready to not have to cook! I hear a seafood buffet in Myrtle Beach calling my name. One with 100 plus items for me to choose from. Trust and believe, I have plans to enjoy myself!
What does your Thanksgiving day look like? Do you travel to family and partake in the cooking? Cleaning, etc.? What’s your favorite food? Mine happens to be cornbread stuffing with jellied cranberry sauce, and gravy. I could eat this everyday after thanksgiving until it’s all gone. And no, I don’t need any meat to go with it.
There are many things we should all be thankful for. As simple as it may seem, I am thankful to be able to type this message. It’s the little things that we don’t think about that we do automatically day in and day out. Take a moment and reflect on the idea of breathing unassisted.
I know I am not the only one that notices the merchandising during holiday seasons. The timeframe it seems is getting shorter and shorter for seeing displays of the coming holiday. I think I mentioned in the previous post that people had their Christmas decorations up after Halloween.
What plans do you have for black Friday? Are you one that stay up and stand in lines with your hot beverage of choice? For me, those days are gone. I have started my sale and sent you and email to inform you. I will be adding items on a regular basis, so make sure you check often. For all my coffee, tea, latte, and cocoa drinkers, the shaker tags, and little mugs are great for attaching to mugs, gift baskets, etc.
I never want to end my blog without sharing a powerful quote or inspiration. That said, today’s quote comes from Norman Vincent Peale.
“A basic law: the more you practice the art of thankfulness, the more you have to be thankful for.” Ponder that.
Thanks again for connecting! Have an awesome rest of the day! I look forward to hearing from each of you.
