THANKFUL FOR YOU
11/20/2024Beautiful spirit, we’re here. It’s Cyber Monday. What is Cyber Monday? According to Britannica “The term Cyber Monday was first coined by the National Retail Federation in 2005 when they noticed that people would continue their holiday shopping online while at work on the Monday after Thanksgiving, because, at that time, many people had a faster Internet connection at work than at home.
Did you shop on Black Friday? If you click the link I shared, it also shows that the two days coincide.
If you turn on your computer, smartphone, iPad, or tablet, you cannot escape any of the many advertisements. For some of us, it was the ideal time to purchase items we’ve had our eyes on at great discounts. GEM Designs, LLC is also taking part.
We started Black Friday with a sale to include an additional discount. And for Cyber Monday, we stepped it up a bit. We’ve raised the discount to an already low price of 30% off with Code: Cyber. So at your earliest convenience, check it out. My sale will be on for the remainder of the year.
I know this post’s focus was Cyber Monday, but I have to ask about your Thanksgiving. Did you cook, go to a friend’s or family’s home, or a restaurant? As for me, I did not cook. I was indulging in seafood. I enjoyed the 100-plus Buffett at The Original Benjamin’s Calabash in Myrtle Beach. Ladies, I was in heaven! I didn’t eat as many crab legs as I normally do because I indulged in some Thanksgiving classics. The Thanksgiving classics I chose were Cornbread stuffing, gravy, a little macaroni and cheese and collards.
Yes, they were good. Especially for food I don’t normally eat. I ate so much until I had to get a couple of coke soda’s so I could burp. Coca Cola never let me down. Even though it was a fountain drink.
After getting my burp on, I had a small piece of pumpkin pie. I could even finish it. Needless to say, I was no good after my meal. Me and Mr. TMI went straight to the room and chilled out. That was it for the evening. The next day I was disappointed. The hotel we stayed at didn’t have the buffet, so I had to order from the menu. I ordered salmon flatbread and it was full of delicious! Check out my pic below.
This dish had capers, red onions, arugula, cucumbers, sesame seeds, cream cheese with chives. Girrrrlllllll, need I say more. I had to share this pic with you.
During Thanksgiving, did you eat items that you don’t normally eat? I know I did. Dairy is not my friend and I don’t make it a habit of having it as an item in entrees. But I will say the mac n’ cheese was okay, as well as the cream cheese and chives that was on the flatbread.
Always, I am looking forward to hearing your response. I am excited about the upcoming inspiration, information, DIY options and quotes that will be coming forth in the new year.
By the way, is it too early to talk about New Year’s resolutions? Do you do such a thing? Let me know.
In the meantime, continue to blessed and living life to the fullest!
XOXO,
Coach G
