“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” Oprah Winfrey
Beautiful spirit, I am thankful for you! Thank you for every visit to this blog and for commenting. The scoop is, this is a Thanksgiving celebration month and I know it’s been a minute, but I can’t say I hadn’t thought about how long it’s been since I did a post. I’m back! Now before you get your knickers in a bunch, each and every day that you wake up, it’s a reason to be thankful!
I want to send a shoutout to all of our Veterans who served in the Armed Forces. I didn’t realize what day it was. To all of our Veterans, including my husband, Mr. TMI himself, Reg Murphy, Thank you for your service. We appreciate all that you’ve done!
Now that I’ve made that acknowledgement, I normally do my weekly walks, but this past week I walked on Saturday and decided to come home, wash and retwist my roots. No problem, right? Well, I sat under the drying for about 20 minutes to make sure my hair was dry, then we went to eat. Lo and behold we went to Big Daddy Burger in Nexton, (I’m enjoying a grilled black bean burger, and yes it was delicious!) However, it was a bit chilly, or either my hair wasn’t dry all the way.
Long story short, I was blowing my nose for the past week…..Yep, caught a head cold. Thankfully, all is well and I don’t have to purchase stock in Kleenex! Or, maybe I should!
This is rare, but I opted to not walk the first three days of the week. Today it rained, however, I wasn’t feeling it anyway, so even if it wasn’t raining, I would have taken the day off. But tomorrow………… I’m working on something.… Yes, I got it in today! Yay!
Now for the rest of the story, the Craft Fairs and Shows have started. This Saturday (tomorrow), Antiques & Artisans will be hosting their Holiday Craft Fair. Let the shopping begin!
Is it me, or did we have Thanksgiving already? I know it’s in a couple of weeks, and I don’t plan to cook! What’s your plan? Do you plan to cook or go out to dinner? Will you have the traditional feast or a different cuisine altogether? Questions and more questions.
Do you have a favorite restaurant that you go to every year? I can’t wait to hear what your plans are! Give us the scoop!
That’s all I have for you. Stay safe and dry. Please keep the families and all those affected by the hurricane in your prayers.
