SUMMER’S ALMOST HERE
05/19/2024WEEKEND VIBES
06/10/2024Beautiful spirit, empty nesters, and women 50+ have you heard about the new spot? If not, let me tell you about it. First of all, how are you? I’ve been disappointed because I haven’t heard from you. I’ll chalk it up to your being busy and not having time to say, hi, and let me know what you’ve been up to.
Before I get into the new spot, here’s my quote. “It takes half your life before you discover life is a do-yourself-project.” – Napoleon Hill I thought this was fitting since the new spot consists of vendor booths and all types of goodies.
CALLING ALL VENDORS
Anywho, I have to credit Kim Falat for letting me know about the new spot. Yesterday, I finally had a chance to meet Shannon one of the owners of the new venue, Vintiques. Vintiques is located at 211 East Main Street, Moncks Corner. It’s a new artisan market with vendors and unique finds.
They are gearing up for a grand opening on June 8th, so mark your calendar. Interested in a potential space, send a message, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Stay tuned for all the details. Also, make sure you follow them on their social media page.
Look forward to all types of goodies. Candles, furniture, toiletries, wood art, lip gloss, upcycled items, crocheted stuffies, pop-up floral bouquet cards, just to name a few things. There are so many unique items, I can’t begin to mention them all! Are you excited, yet?
Shop small. Give the big box stores and break support local entrepreneurs and give unique gifts you can’t find everywhere else.
These are all the deets I’m giving you for now. Make it a point to check it out on June 8th.
I NEED A LITTLE HELP
GEM Designs, LLC is working on a few things. However, I need your help. I am looking for flower shops, and boutiques to connect with to promote our handmade gift tags. Who’s a good fit?
I am considering a Christmas in June versus a Christmas in July sale. What do you think? I want to hear from you. Stay tuned for the shops where you’ll be able to get handmade hang tags for your gifts. We love partnering with local businesses!
We’re also adding some new jewelry pieces so if you have done the opt in , please do so. Don’t forget out our blog, too!
COOL DRINKS
Tis the season to stay cool! Have you experienced the temperatures lately? It’s been a little warm. Well, amidst this heat, I have been juicing. Not that I stopped. But now, I am juicing watermelon and adding a few pieces of mint. Talk about delicious. You have to try it! If you don’t have a juicer, a heavy duty blender should suffice. All you have to do is cut the watermelon, take out the seeds, and then blend or juice. After that’s done, drop in a few leaves of mint. Let chill in for a bit and then enjoy. It’s so refreshing and flavorful!
Beautiful spirit I think this is all I have for now. Let me know if you know of some new spots that’s worth sharing with our tribe. This can include boutiques, flower shops, vendor malls, and you know I can’t leave out food! Have you tried the Crabcake Benedict at Pages Okra & Grill? If you haven’t, you need to add it to your list!
I almost forgot about my Bubble Tea experience at Cuppa Manna . Peyton hooked me up with a Matcha and Pomegranate Bubble Tea. It was awesome! You have to try that, too! There are so many combinations. Live on the edge. Join the Bubble tea community. It really is a thing. I usually take pictures of my drinks but before I knew it, I had scarfed it all down, and was like, oops! So much for pictures. I will try and remember to take picture in the future.
It seems every time I think I’m done, I think of something. But I am ending for real this time. It’s been great checking in and giving you the scoop. Now it’s time for you to reciprocate. Enjoy your weekend and stay cool.
Until next time,
XOXO,
Glenda

Hello, my beautiful friend!
Watermelon and mint,?? Sounds great! I just read that watermelons with seeds are less gmo. The ones without have been engineered. I am reading a great book, Good Energy, by Casey Means, MD. You would love it.
Hopefully, we can get together soon!
Hey Sunshine! I miss you, too! The watermelon and mint are delicious and cooling!
When it comes to fruits, I am all for the seeded forms. Genesis Chapter 1 helps me in that regard. When I see seeded and then non-seeded for the same fruit, my antenna goes up.
Regarding what you’re reading, I love the title! Good energy is everything! Give me good energy or vibes any day. See you soon!
XOXO,
G
